The Catholic Bible Federation website has a section on the ways the Bible is shared by Catholics. There are basically three ways: the Lumko, the Vigan (from Vigan, Ilocos Sur) and the Liberational models (described by Carlos Mesters himself, Liberation Theology’s Bible expert). The Lumko model has been in use for quite some time now, and is the bible sharing model one normally observes in bible sharing groups. The Vigan model is for me something new. The liberational model was developed largely in the BECs of Brazil; I have read about it when I was preparing my research paper for theology "The Militant Reading of Scriptures." Go here for a read.
